<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flow sensor of improved reliability by making a holder to which a flow-rate detecting element is fitted to be cantilevered by an outline constituting member which is plugged in a main passage, so that the vibration at a free end of the outline constituting member is not directly propagated to the free end of the holder, suppressing damage on the flow-rate detecting element or disconnection of an electric connection part. <P>SOLUTION: An electrical connection part 30 between a flow-rate detection element 21 and a circuit board 17 is positioned within holder insert hole 16 of a holder 18.
