Provided is a novel molecular marker for Crohns disease. Also, provided are a method to detect a diagnostic marker of Crohns disease, and a method for screening a substance for preventing or treating Crohns disease. In the present invention, early diagnosis and prognosis of Crohns disease are possible by using a biomarker which increases or decreases the expression specifically in tissues of a patient having Crohns disease. A kit for diagnosing or analyzing the prognosis of Crohns disease comprises: antibodies or aptamers specifically binding to at least one type of protein selected from the group consisting of neutrophil elastase, haptoglobin, vimentin, cytokeratin 8, and heat shock protein (HSP) 27; a nucleotide sequence which codes the protein; and a sequence complementary to the nucleotide sequence, or a segment of the nucleotide. |
