<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-user receiver in a DS-CDMA system with a small scale circuit. <P>SOLUTION: A reception signal Y(t) becomes matching filter output by diffusion signals f<SB>1</SB>(t) to f<SB>L</SB>(t) created by an extended diffusion signal creation part 12. A result obtained by linearly coupling a plurality (K-pieces) of outputs y<SB>1</SB>to y<SB>K</SB>in them and K-pieces of weight coefficients x<SB>1</SB>to x<SB>K</SB>created in a weight coefficient creation part 9 from a deformed diffusion signal created in the extended diffusion signal creation part 12 in a linear coupling part 6 becomes output whose interference for one bit is suppressed. The weight coefficients x<SB>1</SB>to x<SB>K</SB>can be obtained as elements of an inverse matrix of correlation coefficient matrix being KxK matrix between the diffusion signals. The weight coefficient creation part in a structure of a diagram 37 realizes a process for obtaining the correlation coefficient matrix and the inverse matrix by one process. Consequently, a circuit scale proportional to a cube of K in a conventional case is reduced to that proportional to a square of K. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
