METHOD FOR SELECTIVE LACING OF FILAMENTS IN MULTI-DIMENSIONAL TEXTILE PREFORM AND DEVICE FOR PERFORMING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a textile preform of a high performance composite material, more concretely a method for selectively lacing filaments in a multi-dimensional textile preform on a rod, and to provide a device for the same.

SOLUTION: A plurality of different filaments (21) disposed in parallel in ready position are firstly prepared. The desired filament (21) is selectively brought facing an insertion station (9) of the filament, the necessary length of the selected filament is pre-delivered, and the filament (21) is presented and brought to the open eye of needles (3) such that the hook of the needle is substantially located at the middle of the length of the filament to be laced. The needle (3) is raised and with it the double filament (21) and if desired the filaments are cut in line with the insertion station (9) at the end of raising of the needle.
