PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a user with a service by using identification information which is recorded in a data recording medium and unique for every data recording medium. SOLUTION: UID, unique identification information, is preliminarily recorded to a CD-R1. When the CD-R1 is loaded into an information terminal 10, the UID is read and transmitted to a management server 12 via the Internet 11. The management server 12 determines whether prescribed data can be recorded to the CD-R1 based on the UID received. For example, when the UID is a right one, contents data are downloaded to the information terminal 10 from the management server 12 and recorded to the CD-R1. Further, when the UID is a right one, for example, notification that copying or moving of the contents data is permitted is sent from the management server 12 to the information terminal 10, and contents data recorded in another recording medium can be copied or moved to the CD-R1.
