PURPOSE: An information providing method using a mobile display unit and an information providing system therefor are provided to reduce congestion in an information desk of an exhibition by allowing a client to directly input personal information to a central server through a mobile display unit. CONSTITUTION: Various information of a company provided from a company server is received and stored in a first region of a storing unit(51). Personal information of a visitor is received and stored in a second region of the storing unit(52). Position information of the visitor together with an ID is received through a mobile display unit(53). It is determined continuously whether the visitor visits the company from the position information(54). If the visitor is determined to have visited the company, the personal information of the visitor is transmitted to the company server(55). Various information of the company is transmitted to the mobile display unit(56). A guest book data of the company the visitor is visiting is transmitted to the mobile display unit of the visitor(57). Data inputted by the visitor through the mobile display unit in response to the guest book data, an event or a questionnaire of the company is received and transmitted to the company server(58).
