PURPOSE: A two-stage aquarium using a cascade artificial fall is provided to utilize both upper story and lower story of the space of the aquarium and make the water in the aquarium pure so that fish can grow well. CONSTITUTION: The aquarium comprises: a natural type water channel(1) removing organic substances and floating materials in the water of the aquarium by using sand and gravel and a cascade artificial fall(10) to make the water pure and discharging the water to the aquarium; and a circulating portion(6) circulating the water in the aquarium(7) into the natural type water channel(1) through first and second circulating pipes(3,5) by using a circulating pump(4). The water in the natural type water channel(1) is purified through sand and gravel(2) to be discharged to the aquarium(7) via a first lower outlet(9) and parts of the water are discharged to the aquarium(7) to a second lower outlet(8).
