<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pigment composition containing an acetoacetic acid arylide-based azo pigment, capable of preparing a printing ink or a coating having excellent fluidity. <P>SOLUTION: This pigment composition contains a 6-30C monocarboxylic acid and the acetoacetic acid arylide-based azo pigment, wherein cobalt and manganese are contained in the composition in a content of 30-3000 ppm in total, when analyzed by inductively coupled plasma spectrometry.
