The trimmer includes a motor (2), a portable tool head (3) and a tubular arm (4) supported at its first axial end by the motor and at its second end by the tool head. A transmission shaft (5) is installed in the interior of the arm, and solidly angularly fixed to a motor arm. A conical coupling (6) is installed in the interior of the head. The trimmer also includes an adaptor element (16) for angularly connecting between the transmission shaft (5) and a part (12) of the conical coupling, coaxial with the transmission shaft.
