The spray pump for cosmetics is mounted in a rigid sleeve (4) which is surrounded by a flexible sleeve (2). The rigid sleeve has a rib (6) which forms an annular space (10) when the flexible sleeve is fitted. This prevents breakage when the pump is inserted into the neck (8) of a glass bottle.
