<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a plug receptacle of a plug socket for a DC power supply has a pair of metal pieces at an anode side and a cathode side, which pieces have equal length and when the plug is drawn out during energizing, an arc is generated that can injure a human body and to damage electric equipment. <P>SOLUTION: One of the pair of the metal pieces 16, 17 connected to the DC power supply 14 is made shorter than the other. The shorter piece 16 is connected directly to the power supply, and the longer piece 17 is connected to the power supply 14 via an electric resistor 22. When a plug cap blade 11 is drawn out and the blade 11 is separated from the piece 16, the blade 11 is brought into contact with the piece 17 to cause low current to flow, thereby preventing the arc from being generated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
