METHOD FOR GENERATING OBJECT-RELATIONAL SCHEMA/QUERY OF UML BASED MAIN MEMORY RESIDENT TYPE

PURPOSE: A method for generating an object-relational schema/query of a UML(Unified Modeling Language) based main memory resident type is provided to design the schema and write a query data controlling word by using a UML designing method without the detail knowledge for an object-relational DBMS(DataBase Management System). CONSTITUTION: A database architecture is visually written by a modeling element of a main memory resident DBMS extending the UML, and a database schema is generated by considering an order for generating a class. A query frame is presented by the generated schema(715), the written query is registered as the method of the corresponding class(716), and the query applicable to the object-relational DBMS is generated. An application program is generated by binding the query and a corresponding variable according to a sequence diagram, and embedding it into the method of an application class.
