PURPOSE: An electron gun for CRT is provided to improve a focus performance by lowering a spherical aberration of a first main lens and to suppress deformation when fixing electrodes. CONSTITUTION: An electron gun for CRT comprises a cathode for emitting a thermal electron; a triode unit having a cathode, a control electrode(16), and an accelerating electrode(18); a first anode(20) arranged next to the accelerating electrode and including a cathode side tube, an intermediate tube and a panel side tube; a focus electrode(22) next to the first anode and including a cathode side tube, a panel side tube, and an intermediate tube arranged between the cathode side tube and the panel side tube; and a second anode(24) arranged next to the focus electrode in order to form a second main lens. The cathode side tube of the focus and the panel side tube of the first anode have a same inner diameter.
