<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To unerringly report a fraudulent act on a game medium detection means. <P>SOLUTION: When +12V (Vdd) power is short-circuited to a grounding level, the input level of a inversion circuit 582d gets to a lower level and a start opening switch 14a gets into the same condition as it is detecting a game ball. Since +12V (Vdd) source voltage is introduced into the reset circuit of a performance control means, the performance control means is reset. However, a voltage monitoring circuit 583 outputs a low-level detection signal, when the +12V (Vdd) source voltage gets to a prescribed value or less. A game control means can recognizes the lowering of the +12V (Vdd) source voltage on the basis of the detection signal from the voltage monitoring circuit 583.
