<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the convenience by enabling the movement of license information from a prescribed recording medium to another recording medium. <P>SOLUTION: A personal computer PC 10 transmits encrypted user information and encrypted license information in a secure recording medium MA to a server 20. The server 20 decodes the encrypted license information on the basis of these transmission contents to obtain license information. Thereafter, the server 20 erases the encrypted license information in the secure storage medium MA through the personal computer 10. Further, the server 20 decodes encrypted user information, on receipt of encrypted user information in a secure storage medium MB to obtain user information. Thereafter, the server 20 encrypts the licensee information on the basis of a user ID in the user information, and writes the resulting encrypted license information to the secure recording medium MB through the personal computer 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
