<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To uniform discharge pressure by focusing on the number of dischagings rather than discharge efficiency per number using property of an oscillator oscillating at a high speed. <P>SOLUTION: This electromagnetic oscillating pump comprises a cylinder 1, a cylinder cap 2, a suction port 3 having a backflow preventing means, a discharge port 4 having a backflow preventing means, the oscillator 5, and electromagnets 6 mounted to both ends of the cylinder. The oscillator 5 starts high speed reciprocating motion by applying alternating current in the same direction to the electromagnets 6 at both ends, and the acceleration direction of a non-magnetic sphere disposed in a hollow part of the oscillator 5 is alternately inverted. When the oscillator 5 heads for the suction port 3, the non-magnetic sphere moves to a pin-like stopper side to guide fluid from a funnel opening to the discharge port 4 side. When the oscillator 5 heads for the discharge port 4, the non-magnetic sphere blocks the funnel opening to apply discharge pressure to the fluid. Due to a plurality of grooves disposed in a liner, without performing perfect sealing, discharge pressure is uniformed by focusing on high speed continuous discharge rather than discharge efficiency per one reciprocating motion. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
