PURPOSE: A styrene-based thermoplastic resin composition is provided, to improve an antistatic property. CONSTITUTION: The styrene-based thermoplastic resin composition comprises 100 parts by weight of a noncrystalline polystyrene resin; 1-3 parts by weight of an anionic surfactant; 0.1-0.5 parts by weight of a polyvalent alcohol; and 0.01-0.3 parts by weight of zinc stearate. Preferably the noncrystalline polystyrene resin is prepared by mass polymerizing 100 parts by weight of a monovinyl aromatic compound with 1-4 parts by weight of a flowing paraffin-based mineral oil having a viscosity of 54-76 cSt at a room temperature, and has a weight average molecular weight of 150,000-300,000; the monovinyl aromatic compound is selected from the group consisting of styrene, α-styrene, α-ethylstyrene and p-methylstyrene; and the polyvalent alcohol is selected from the group consisting of glycerol, pentaerythritol and sorbitol. |
