<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conduit repair technique which enables an operation to be efficiently and safely carried out without requiring a high head for the reversal of a pipe lining material and realizes energy saving. <P>SOLUTION: This technique comprises the steps: first, one end of the pipe lining material 7 which is impregnated with an uncured thermosetting resin, is folded back and airtightly fitted to a reversing nozzle 9; the other end of the pipe lining material 7 is airtightly closed and a hot water hose 5 is fitted to the other end; the pipe lining material 7 and the hot water hose 5 are accommodated in airtight containers 1 and 2 and the pipe lining material 7 is reversely inserted into the conduit 20 by applying a water pressure to act to the interior of the airtight containers 1 and 2, then the pipe lining material 7 is cut off the container 2 and the cutoff part of the material 7 is airtightly closed with the help of a shut-off nozzle; and the hot water is discharged to the interior of the pipe lining material 7 from the hot water hose 5 led into the material 7 and thereby, the whole material 7 is heated to cure the thermosetting resin impregnated in the pipe lining material 7. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
