<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce power consumption in the case of device standby and to avoid the lowering of user's convenience for the reduction of the power consumption in an information processor. <P>SOLUTION: The information processor 1 is provided with a determination means 2 for deciding propriety about transition between a use state and a power-saving state regarding a device 4 and a power supply control means 3 for temporarily stopping the device in a recoverable state by interrupting power supply to the device 4 when the device 4 is transited to the power-saving state on receiving an instruction from the decision means and after that, restoring the device to an original state at the time of interruption by supplying power when the device is transited to the use state. The information processor 1 is constituted so that the power supply to the device 4 is interrupted at the power-saving state, and in addition, the device is promptly returned to a usable state by restoring the device to the original state at the time of interruption by restarting power supply when the device 4 is desired to be used. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
