<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf club head of which the position of center of gravity of a head body is optimally positioned without increasing the mass of the golf club head and complicating a production process therefor, and also to provide a golf club including the head. <P>SOLUTION: The sole part of the golf club head 18 includes: a first part 1 to be grounded in setup; and a second part 2 to be erected toward a toe part from the first part 1. The first and second parts 1, 2 have a projected and curved surface shape at the outer part of the head body. The angle of the second part 2 with respect to the first part 1 is adjusted so that an angleθmade by a first plane 15 in contact with the vertex of the first part 1 and a second plane 16 in contact with the vertex of the second part 2 to be not less than 30°and also not more than 60°when setup is performed by a predetermined lie angle. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
