<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust gas turbo-charger of a compact structure. <P>SOLUTION: This turbo-charger is provided with housings 8a, 8b, at least one turbine 2 which is disposed inside the housing and has a variable turbine shape for controlling intake pressure, and a bypass mechanism for exhaust gas flow to bypass at least part of the turbine. The bypass mechanism is positioned inside the housing and, infrequently in a wall of the housing.
