<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible for a player to enjoy the game by inputting a performance in tune with a music. <P>SOLUTION: At a part (a display part 4a) of a game screen on a monitor of this game device, a tapping sign displaying path 301 and a phrase displaying path 302 are displayed. On the tapping sign displaying path 301, a tapping signs P and R instructing the tapping of an operation unit are displayed. Then, for example, a ghost sign G as one indicating the tapping timing of a player who has scored a maximum point of the game is displayed. The tapping signs P and R and the ghost sign G are displayed in a row in a manner to move at a fixed speed from the right end part to the left end part of the display part 4a.
