<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a print control system and a print control method prescribing the setting of print control conditions in a printer for every user by a printer driver. <P>SOLUTION: This print control system controls the printing executed by the printer by the printer driver installed in a host computer A. The host computer A stores function restriction information for restricting the use of a printing function possessed by the printer in an HD 44.
