PURPOSE: A cooking control method of a toaster is provided to improve uniform heating efficiency of the toaster by deciding optimal cooking time with regard to time between the completion time of a former cooking operation and the cooking start order time, and the present temperature of a cavity. CONSTITUTION: A cooking control method of a toaster having a heater and a fan motor is composed of steps for counting a cooking completion time to the input of a cooking start order after finishing a former cooking(S10); driving a heater for a first cooking time corresponding to a selected level when a user selects a bake level and inputs a cooking start order(S20,S30,S40,S50); sensing the internal temperature of a cooking chamber within the first cooking time(S60); deciding a second cooking time to the counted cooking completion time and the sensed internal temperature(S70); cooking for the second cooking time by driving the heater(S80); and stopping the heater after the second cooking time and blowing by driving the fan motor for a predetermined time(S90).
