The inventive slalom sledge relates to a third winter sport after ski and snowboard. It can be used for going down the hill on virgin snow, is provided with large slides or a monoski and has a high road clearance . Small radius turns are carried out with the aid of transversally curved and axially turnable slides. A sharp turn is assisted by the slides bent on both ends thereof. The transversal bending of the slides associated with simultaneous axial turning thereof are ensured by five variants of devices. In two embodiments of the sledge, horizontally curved slides in combination with an elastic membrane forms a monoski. Said sledge is controlled by pedals and a pneumatic drive or the combination thereof in such a way that it is usable by children, old people and legless persons. The glass-fibre-reinforced hobs and an aluminium frame make it possible to produce the sledge whose mass is equal to or less than 7 kg and to carry it by means of existing cable ways. |
