<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for acquiring a primordal germ cell in high recovery rate and high refining rate compared with conventional acquisition method and provide a method for preparing a chimera body and a non-human transgenic animal by using the primordal germ cell. <P>SOLUTION: The method for acquiring a primordal germ cell comprises the centrifugal treatment of a cell group containing primordal germ cells in an N,N'-bis(2,3-dihydroxypropyl)-5-[N-(2,3-dihydroxypropyl)acetamide]-2,4,6-triiodo-isophthalamide medium to separate the primordal germ cells from the cell group containing the primordal germ cells. The primordal germ cell is stably acquired by the method and a non-human transgenic animal is prepared by introducing a desired gene into the germ cell. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
