<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication device which can realize both of large capacity of communication and improvement in communication quality by using pulse signals having a mutually orthogonal relation. <P>SOLUTION: The communication device has a serial/parallel converter 13 for converting the input data 12 to a binary signal group in parallel, a pulse generator group 14 for generating a modulation unit signal group by converting each of the signals in the binary signal group to a unit signal having at least one pulse in a unit frame and by converting it to a modulation pulse in which the amplitude of the pulse is modulated, a synthesizer 15 for generating a transmission signal by superposing the output of the pulse generator group 14, and an antenna 16 for transmitting the transmission signal. It is so composed that the modulation pulse is generated at mutually different time between the modulation unit signals in the same unit frame. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
