PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ignition time controller capable of properly controlling ignition time of an internal combustion engine switchable between partial-cylinder operation and all cylinder operation in accordance with result of knocking determination and providing the maximum engine output within a suppressable range of knocking. SOLUTION: Learned values (KIGKRFCS, KIGKREF, KIGKREFE) of lag coefficient KIGKN set in accordance with the result of knocking determination are calculated by corresponding to partial cylinder operation and all cylinder operation, respectively (S111).
