<p>The use of S-alkylisothiouronium derivatives, such as, but not limited to the preferred compound S-ethylisothiouronium diethylsphosphate, for the treatment of headache, in particular migraine, as well as for the prevention or treatment of nausea and vomiting, is disclosed. The compositions of the invention are effective in preventing or alleviating emesis associated with migraine or other medical conditions such as chemotherapy or radiotherapy, as well as other symptoms of migraine including phonophobia and photophobia.</p> |
