The present invention relates to a system and a method for supporting broadcast-dedicated search and, more particularly, to a technique for providing, for a broadcast being viewed, related keywords for each broadcast section to a user terminal. A broadcast-related keyword providing server that receives channel information from a user terminal device according to a request of the user terminal device and provides a keyword related to a real-time broadcast serviced on the channel, comprises: a broadcast section division unit for dividing a reference broadcast stream for each channel serviced on at least one broadcast channel into one or more broadcast sections; a keyword storage unit for storing keywords corresponding to the respective divided broadcast sections; a channel selection unit for receiving the channel information from the user terminal device and selecting the channel; a keyword detection unit for detecting, from the keyword storage unit, a keyword corresponding to the broadcasting section in which the requesting time of the user terminal device is included, being serviced on the selected channel; and an information transmitting and receiving unit for providing the detected keyword to the user terminal device. |
