PURPOSE: A Brinell hardness tester is provided to exactly measure hardness of a test sample and to reduce a test time by generating and charging an oil pressure without a pause. CONSTITUTION: A Brinell hardness tester includes a hydraulic cylinder(15), a motor(6), a pair of eccentric cams(34,34), a pair of pistons(35,35), a hydraulic pump(36), an oil pressure meter(14), and a die. The hydraulic cylinder(15) is fixed to an upper part of a body(20). The motor(6) is installed at front one side of the hydraulic cylinder(15). The oil pressure meter(14) is coupled to a front side of the hydraulic cylinder(15). The die is lifted by a handle installed at the lower part of the hydraulic cylinder(15). A test sample is nested in the die.
