<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biological dephosphorization apparatus which can perform the removal of phosphorus efficiently. <P>SOLUTION: Phosphorus-containing raw water 1 is introduced into an anaerobic tank 3 of a biological dephosphorization activated sludge treatment stage 2, and BOD (biochemical oxygen demand) removal and the absorption of phosphorus into dephosphorization bacillus are performed in the anaerobic tank 3 and an aerobic tank 4 communicated therewith. Part of settling sludge 7 is branched, is introduced into a sludge anaerobic retention tank 10 as branched sludge 9, and is retained there under anaerobic conditions, so that phosphorus is discharged from the phosphorous-containing sludge. Separated sludge 13 is introduced into an ozone oxidation tank 18, and is decomposed by oxidization to elute soluble organic matter. Ozone oxidation sludge 19 produced in the ozone oxidation tank 18 is returned to the anaerobic tank 3 in the biological dephosphorization activated sludge treatment stage 2 and is introduced into the aerobic tank 4, and the ozone oxidation sludge 19 is decomposed into carbon dioxide and water by microorganisms. The branched sludge 9 is stirred with dilution water in the sludge anaerobic tank 10, and thereafter, membrane separation is performed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
