<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a touch panel which is prevented from causing interference fringes, enables data to be inputted with light pressurizing force and is excellent in operability, reliability, and moisture resistance by surely sealing the opening of a seal agent. <P>SOLUTION: This touch panel is constituted by arranging upper and lower substrates 1 and 2 each with a pair of transparent electrodes so as to be opposite to each other through the seal agent 16 with the transparent electrodes positioned inside, wherein the opening 16a of the seal agent 16 can be sealed by a sealing member 71. In this case, the short side dimension of the opening 16a is set as the clearance dimension of the upper and lower substrates 1 and 2, and the long side dimension is set ranging from 1 to 7 mm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
