<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a method for testing the communication path of a network in which the communication path of the network can be verified simply and quickly. <P>SOLUTION: The method for testing the communication path of a network comprises a step for providing apparatus set information setting the information of apparatus connected with a network and indicating execution of data communication between some apparatus, as a start point, and a second apparatus, as an end point, based on the apparatus set information, a step for collecting transmitting/receiving data from these apparatus upon ending transmission/reception of data between the apparatus at the start point and end point connected with the network according to indication of execution, a step for extracting the communication path between the start point apparatus and the end point apparatus based on the collected transmitting/receiving data, and a step for presenting the extracted communication path in combination with a communication path extracted based on the apparatus set information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
