<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data transfer circuit in a printing apparatus such as a printer, which is prevented from forming an image of deteriorated print quality due to missing of printing the last pixel in each phase. <P>SOLUTION: Print data supplied from a host device is converted to image data by an interface controller and the image data (data (DATA)0-data (DATA)3) are alternately inputted to RAMs 9, 10 according to the controlling of a RAM write controller 7. A RAM read controller 8 reads the data stored in the RAMs 9, 10 to output it to an LED head via an output selector 16. At that time, the reading operation from the RAMs 9, 10 is carried out in the direction the same as that of the writing or in a so-called mountain shape to correct a blank region so that the printing operation superior in printing quality is carried out. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
