<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a variable resistor wherein manufacturing cost is low, and uniform resistance is obtained over full length of a resistor pattern. <P>SOLUTION: A thin film is formed on a surface of an insulating substrate 2 by silk screening of conductive ink of cermet. By calcinating the substrate 2 under a high temperature, the resistor pattern 3 is formed. On both ends of the pattern 3 of the substrate 2, silk screening of the resin system conductive ink is performed, and electrodes 4, 4 are formed by calcinating the substrate 2 under a low temperature. Since the pattern 3 is sintered under a high temperature, modulus of resistance change to temperature and humidity is made small, and glass component is prevented from depositing partially on the surface. As a result, the variable resistor having uniform resistance over full length of the resistor pattern 3 is provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
