<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of correcting the skew of a re-fed sheet without increasing the size of an apparatus body. <P>SOLUTION: The skew of the sheet is corrected by allowing the sheet fed from sheet feed parts 16 and 40 or the sheet passed through a re-feed passage 62 to abut on a resist means 1 in a stopped state to form a loop on the sheet. The sheet fed from the sheet feed parts 16 and 40 is moved into a loop formation space S1 formed on the upstream side of the resist means 1 to form the loop through feed sheet advancing routes R1 and R2, and the sheet passed through the re-feed passage 62 is advanced through a re-feed sheet advancing route R3. In addition, the re-feed sheet advancing route R3 is moved toward the loop formation space side by forming the inlet of the re-feed sheet advancing route R3 into the loop formation space on the downstream side of the inlets of the feed sheet advancing routes R1 and R2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
