<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve convenience when receiving a home delivery object from a specific home delivery service company or an agent for home delivery service company specified by a use resident and delivering to a specific home delivery service company or an agent for home delivery service company. <P>SOLUTION: This management system is provided with a management server capable of controlling a home delivery object custody device, an article storage means having a door capable of opening a lock by a command of the management server, and a portable medium reading means reading deliveryman information of a first portable medium that a deliveryman has or resident information of a second portable medium that the resident has and connected with the management server. The deliveryman information or the resident information is read from the first portable medium or the second portable medium by the portable medium reading means.
