<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lessen the burden on a network administrator required for configuring the virtual path of a virtual private network (VPN) and to enhance convenience. <P>SOLUTION: The virtual path configuring system comprises a configuration information setting section 110 for setting the configuration information of a VPN (virtual private network) interconnecting a plurality of LAN segments S1-S4 through a virtual path, a configuration information exchanging section 130 for transmitting configuration information to other virtual path configuring systems 200 and 300, receiving configuration information transmitted from other virtual path configuring systems 200 and 300 and sharing the configuration information among all virtual path configuring systems, and a virtual path configuring section 150 for configuring a virtual path based on the shared configuration information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
