<p>The gyrometer with added indicator of engine torque level refers to the field of automotive technology. It solves the problem of the driver not-knowing the level of engine torque thus preventing the optimisation of engine efficiency. The engine torque indicator as an addition to the gyrometer in the form of a colour field of changeable tone or width, which change depending on torque changes during the whole applicable rotation range. Regarding the colour tone or field width the driver is provided with information about the corresponding available engine torque at a certain number of rotations. The more intensive the colour tone the wider the field, the larger the torque and vice-versa. At the same time the driver is provided with the information what engine torque will be available if he increases or decreases the number of rotations. The current value of the engine torque is displayed by the number of rotations indicator (4). The indicator or colour field (2) is imprinted into the gyrometer panel the same way and at the same time as other designations on the gyrometer panel.</p> |
