<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operating device in which a malfunction is prevented in carrying out a slide operation and a rotation operation, and in which maneuverability can be improved. <P>SOLUTION: On a cylindrical rotation operating member 21 in which only the rotation operation is made possible, a cylindrical slide operating member 22 is installed. This is the operating device 2 in which a display screen is controlled by means of these operating members 21, 22.
