MICRO HEAT SINK AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME CAPABLE OF REDUCING SIZE AND INCREASING SURFACE AREA OF HEAT SINK

PURPOSE: A micro heat sink and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to achieve improved efficiency of heat transfer by reducing the size and increasing the surface area of the heat sink. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a micro heat sink comprises a step of activating a polymer membrane; a step of forming an electroless metal plating(14) on one surface of the polymer membrane; and a step of forming a micro heat sink(16) by removing the polymer membrane in such a manner that the pore of the polymer membrane corresponds to a heat radiation fin and the surface of the polymer membrane corresponds to a main body. A micro heat sink is characterized in that the size of a heat radiation fin and thickness of the main body are nanometer to millimeter unit so as to increase the surface area of the micro heat sink.
