<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radioactive-ray sensing portion wherein the cause of the noise generated in the radioactive-ray sensing portion comprising a direct-conversion type two-dimensional array is so excluded therefrom so as to improve its S/N characteristic. <P>SOLUTION: The radioactive-ray sensing portion having a portion corresponding to a front-cover portion 1a of a housing 1 which is formed out of a non-conductive material and having a structure so molded by an insulation substance 41, an insulating plate 42, and an insulating sheathing board 43 so as to cover therewith wholly a radioactive-ray-sensible semiconductor 7 present on an active-matrix substrate 6 and a voltage applying electrode 8, wherein there is shielded from above the insulating plate 42 by a shield member 3 a region ranging from the outer frame of the housing 1 to the peripheral-edge portion of the voltage applying electrode 8 wherefrom the portion present just above the voltage applying electrode 8 is excluded. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
