<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely remove substances like adhesives, bonds or the like remaining on a cathode-ray tube after removing an explosion-proof band. <P>SOLUTION: The substance 16 like adhesives and bonds remaining on a part 13 of the cathode-ray tube 10 where the explosion-proof band is removed from is cooled and hardened by spraying a compressed cold air from cold air spraying members 36, 37, and the hardened adhered substance 16 is removed from the cathode-ray tube 10 by pressing and moving a rotation brush of removing members 51, 52 in rotation on the hardened substance 16. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
