<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a knowledge transfer supporting service system for automation and activation of remote knowledge transfer activities using a wide-area computer network. <P>SOLUTION: In this knowledge transfer supporting service system, users on the wide-area computer network are dynamically divided into an instructor and a learner for knowledge transfer, and knowledge is exchanged between the users via a special encounter between the instructor and the learner. For promoting the knowledge transfer activities, a payment means for a reward to the instructor and a usage fee from the learner is introduced.
