ELECTRODELESS DISCHARGE LAMP

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrodeless discharge lamp which can simply and safely be assembled.

SOLUTION: The electrodeless discharge lamp is provided with a bulb A having a bulb main body 2 with discharge gas 1 sealed and a cap body 3, and a coupler unit B having an induction coil 4 generating a high-frequency electromagnetic field in the bulb main body 2 mounting and fixing the bulb A. The bulb main body 2 is provided with a depressed part 5 fallen inward nearly in a cylindrical shape and an exhaust pipe part 6 set in protrusion nearly in a cylindrical shape in the depressed part 5 from nearly a center part of its rear end part and communicating with an inside of the bulb main body 2. The coupler unit B is to be inserted into the depressed part 5 at mounting and fixing of the bulb A, at which time, a guide protrusion 7 formed in nearly a cylindrical shape for the exhaust pipe part 6 to be inserted into is set at an inner periphery part of the cap main body 3 for inserting a tip end part of the coupler unit B and a depressed opening 5a of the depressed part 5 by relatively positioning them.
