FIELD: medicine. ^ SUBSTANCE: method involves simultaneously presenting neutral text to both ears for testee to represent it. Noise word sets of neutral or stress-invoking contents are presented to the right and left ear. Acoustic pressure of neutral text is 7-10 dB higher than noise intensity. Visual stimuli are additionally shown and latent sensorimotor response time to visual stimulus is recorded. Emotional stability is evaluated from latent sensorimotor response time variation. Envelope is divided into a number of areas. Emotional stability index is determined as ESI= T1/T2, where T1 is the mean latent sensorimotor response time when presenting a series of noise signals of neutral contents in ms, T2 is the mean latent sensorimotor response time when presenting a series of noise signals of stress-invoking contents in ms. Rhythm cardiogram is additionally recorded and cardiac rhythm variability is determined. ^ EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness and accuracy in controlling attention reserve in accomplishing operator tasks; high accuracy in evaluating emotional stability. ^ 3 cl, 1 dwg |
