<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protecting/guiding device for a cable or the like capable of preventing abrasion damage on a cable or the like even under high speed and high frequency operation. <P>SOLUTION: Multiple link bodies (11) are connected together bendably in lengthwise direction while incorporating cables (12, 112, and 113). Each link body is composed of a pair of side plates (21) arranged on both sides of a cable and connecting rods (22 and 23) bridged on the bending outer periphery side and bending inner periphery side of the side plate, respectively.
