<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a night vision system for a vehicle and a headlight device for a vehicle capable of suppressing halation due to irradiated light from an oncoming vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: The night vision system for a vehicle is equipped with first light fixtures 1A, 1B at least irradiating the irradiated light of first infrared wavelength region, second lighting fixtures 1B, 2B at least irradiating the irradiated light of second infrared wavelength region different from the first infrared wavelength region, a irradiation selection means 5 selecting either one of the first and second lighting fixtures 1A, 2A, 1B, 2B, a light receiving selection means 9 selecting either a first reflection light caused by the irradiated light of the first infrared wavelength region reflected from the reflection object 4 in front of the vehicle, or a second reflection light caused by the irradiated light of the second infrared wavelength region reflected from the reflection object 4 in front of the vehicle, an image pickup means 3 receiving the reflection light selected with the selection means 9, and a display means 6 displaying the image of the reflection object 4 picked up by the image pickup means 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
