PURPOSE: Provided is a cosmetic composition comprising Panax ginseng (C.A.MEY) extract and medicinal plant extracts as active ingredients for preventing skin aging, such as skin wrinkle formation, skin elasticity reduction and moisture reduction. The composition increases skin cell proliferation and collagen synthesis and inhibits oversensitivity of the skin and skin-aging. CONSTITUTION: The composition for increasing skin cell proliferation and collagen synthesis and inhibiting oversensitivity of the skin and skin-aging i characterized by containing the extracts of Panax ginseng (C.A.MEY) extract and medicinal plants including Cornus officinalis Sieb. et Zucc., Dioscorea Batatas Decaisne, licorice root, Liriope platyphylla WANG et TANG, Poria cocos and Rehmannia glutinosa. The composition improves skin wrinkles, skin elasticity and skin mesmerization to prevent skin-aging.
